Ministry to the Sick, Homebound, and Hospitalized

The priests, deacons, and sisters, as well as trained volunteers, make regular visits to those who are unable to join the community for Mass.

Whether someone is ill for a short time due to a temporary medical condition or suffering from a long-term chronic illness, please email the Parish Office or call 614-761-3734 to request a visit or add a family member to the homebound list.

Hospitals

Because of current privacy regulations the parish will only be notified of hospitalized parishioners if permission is given to contact the parish. All of the local hospitals have Chaplaincy programs and those persons will also notify the parish for you.

Homebound

Members of the parish pastoral staff or volunteer ministers bring Eucharist, as well as the news of the parish, to our homebound parishioners once a week.

Long Term Care Facilities

Each Sunday members of the parish staff or volunteer ministers conduct prayer services and bring Eucharist to Catholic residents of the three long term care facilities within our parish boundaries.

Anointing of the Sick

The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is available to anyone who is seriously ill, has a change in their health status or who is undergoing surgery. The priests of the parish are available to minister this sacrament whenever it is needed. In addition, three times throughout the year the Sacrament is offered as part of a Sunday Mass. Please check the bulletin or current events section of the Website for these dates.
