Enclosed please find the Liturgical Ministry schedule for the month of December.
The deadline to submit scheduling requests/unavailability for the next schedule
will be December 5. Send your availability either by telephone at 761-3734
(extension 252), or email at Stbrigidscheduler@hotmail.com.
The other upcoming date that you need to be aware of is:
New Liturgical Minister Training: February 21, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
Registration required. Contact: jharper@midohio.twcbc.com
Please note the following:
Everyone:
1. It is vital for you to find a substitute, when you are not able to be there.
2. We continue to need you to be signed in fifteen minutes before mass.
3. If it is later than that and you are not there the Ministry Captain will
replace your position.
4. Please do not give them grief if you come late and find that this has
happened.
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist:
1. We need to purify ALL the vessels after the distribution of the Eucharist. If
you are unsure about this ask the Ministry Captain or me what to do.
2. Those who are minister of the cup NEED to stand with their heels against the
back of the sanctuary step. When you omit this and move forward you cause a
serious traffic
jam of those trying to receive the
Eucharist. This is distracting to all concerned.
Altar Servers
1. All the albs in the Altar Server closet are clean. Please hang them up in
order with the shortest ones on the left.
2. Please notify Mr. Corroto or Sr. Joan when the candle lighters are not
working properly.
3. Continue to be kind to the new Altar Servers who are being mentored.
4. Remember to light the candles with the long handled candle lighters.
Ushers and Jr. Ushers:
1. It is important that you help people find a seat, i.e. do not stand in the
back of the church chatting with one another.
2. Thank you for all that you did to give us an accurate October Count. The
numbers were better than last year.
Greeters:
Please reserve yourself a place in church before you begin your ministry.
We are grateful to all of you for the loving and faithful way in which you
discharge your assigned ministry. May our gracious God gift you with manifold
blessings.
