The goal of our welcoming committee is to give every new family a sense of belonging and help them become an integral part of our faith community. Each new member or family is personally contacted and invited to attend a monthly Welcoming Reception after the weekend masses. Here they are given the opportunity to learn about our history, our current activities and ministries and to enjoy fellowship with their new parish family.
This committee is currently expanding its volunteer base to more effectively contact each new parish member or family. We need people to make initial phone contacts, host Saturday or Sunday receptions, or visit new families in their homes. Anyone interested in welcoming new members is also invited to the receptions the first weekend every month.
