The Main Event
The Main Event is an annual fundraiser which benefits the missions of the parish, religious education department and the school. For the first time this exciting event will be held at our new Pastoral Center. The Main Event won’t be successful without your help!
Reservations will be accepted online this year as well as through the mail.The cost of the event will once again be $75 per person including dinner, cash bar, music, and as always, great raffle and auction items.
“The Main Event” is St. Brigid of Kildare’s annual fundraiser which is now in its 11th year. This year’s event will be held Saturday, April 26, 2008 in the new pastoral center of St. Brigid of Kildare. We welcome our Masters of Ceremonies Bob and Lorene Heatherington to join us for the evening.
This exciting parish event features an enjoyable evening of dinner, entertainment, auctions, and raffles. In years past, The Main Event has raised thousands of dollars for various parish missions. Proceeds are distributed between the church, elementary school and religious education programs. Recently, the Religious Education program received funds which will be used to help parish families with tuition assistance. The elementary school has also been able to purchase technology equipment from proceeds they received.
The success of The Main Event relies heavily on the support and volunteer efforts provided by St. Brigid of Kildare’s parishioners. There are a variety of ways to become part of this worthwhile parish fund raising event in addition to meeting other families and making new friends.
