Collection Closet in Hendricks Hall

The Gathering Area in the church has always been and will always be a holy and revered space.  It is to be treated as we would treat the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, the altar, the pulpit, and the pews in the main church.

The Gathering Area is not to be used for purposes of fund-raising, event sign-ups, or collection activities. To help maintain the integrity of this holy space, remember to treat the Gathering Area with the same respect you treat other parts of the church space. With this in mind, Hendricks Hall can be made available for Parish related fund-raising, event sign-ups, or collection activities. On Saturday, Hendricks Hall will be available before and after the 5:00pm Mass.  On Sundays, Hendricks Hall will be available from 7:00am through 1:30pm. The Sunday Socials have been designed to help draw parishioners into Hendricks Hall after the 9:00am and 10:45am Masses.

Current Collection Instructions

  • For the short-term, the parish will make available a space in the closet in Immke Room in the Hendricks Hall for collected items. When people drop off items, they can do so in the Immke Room. If your committee has bins, boxes or tubs, this is where they should be located. The parish will provide a shelving unit in the collection closet for committee usage.
  • Collected non-perishable items should be removed from the storage area no later than Wednesday at Noon. That would give the host committee 2 full days to sort and make arrangements for transport after collection on Sunday.
  • Long term / next steps.

St. Brigid is not equipped to accept clothing of any kind to be dropped off in the church or Hendricks Hall.
