Development
The Development program at St. Brigid of Kildare encompasses all aspects of fund raising in the Parish.
Development includes the annual offertory (the Tapestry Program) Capital campaigns, (Embracing the Future Phase I and II) Endowments, Special Events, Tuition assistance (the Oak Society), Planned Giving (the Mary of the Gael Society) SPiCE (Special People in Catholic Education) and the School Annual Fund.
The work of the Development program requires continuous attention to the strength of the parish’s mission and the ways in which the parish makes itself accountable to its constituencies, involvement of those constituencies with the institution, understanding the resources required to carry out the parish's mission, preparing plans for solicitation the private funds needed to carry out the organization’s mission, assisting the parish in raising necessary funds, and demonstrating good stewardship of the funds received.
