Eucharist

The Eucharistic celebration always includes: the proclamation of the Word of God, thanksgiving to God the Father for all His benefits, above all the gift of His Son; the consecration of bread and wine; and participation in the liturgical banquet by receiving the Lord’s body and blood. These elements constitute one single act of worship (CCC 1408).

Throughout the year, a variety of opportunities are offered to all parishioners to deepen their understanding and appreciation for the Eucharist. These include classes whose primary audience are the parents of those children preparing for First Communion, the Catechist Certification class, Liturgy and Sacraments, and Eucharistic Adoration on the First Fridays of the month.
