Social Action
The Social Action Committee is truly a living example of the life of St. Brigid. Needs are channeled to the committee through the clergy, the diocese or direct request. The various subcommittees (links below) coordinate the relief effort by working with the recipient and reaching out to our parish community for support. The broad base of volunteers and generosity of our parishioners are the keys to our success in this ministry.

Confidential support is freely given to those who suffer in our parish community. We also serve the poor and the hungry throughout the year with parish wide collections and projects. Use the links on this page to find out specifics about how you can be a part of our ministries. Also watch the weekly bulletin for ways you can help.

                             URGENT NEED

J.O.I.N., our diocesan agency for emergency assistance to the poor, has identified

an emergency need for winter coats in men's sizes large and extra large up to an 8X. If
you can donate a new or gently used coat, place it in the donation bin in the church
coatroom and it will be taken to the J.O.I.N. office.
