            Our Mission

The ministry of the St. Joseph League is to support individuals who are unemployed and/or under employed. Rather than find them jobs, our mission is to provide them the tools to enable them to find the right job themselves. We will also give them emotional and spiritual support. Everyone is welcome, regardless of faith or location.
 

  
 

We offer the tools to help you re-evaluate your skills and to successfully present those skills in the employment market.

Meetings are held every Tuesday evening, 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. in the St. Brigid Church basement.  Confidentiality is assured.

Anyone who specializes in human resources or who wishes to become a mentor is encouraged to join our volunteer team.

We will keep your information confidential.
We will treat you with courtesy and respect.
We will be direct and straightforward in advising you on your job search.
We will assign a mentor to you for support, encouragement and resources.
We will provide training on the following topics:

  • Personal and professional self-assessment.
  • Cover letters and resume preparation.
  • Interviewing techniques.
  • Networking the Job Search.
